A bomb threat was communicated to the Hollywood Park Casino in California on Tuesday. The premises were examined, and no explosive device was discovered.

"Once they started leaving, people started panicking,” Randal Taylor of Bonita Springs, Fla., told Los Angeles TV station KTLA. “There was a mad rush of people running, hiding under the tables because they thought it was an active shooter.”
Officers from the Inglewood Police Department and a bomb squad were dispatched.
Subsequently, Taylor learned of speculation that the bomb threat originated from an individual who lost money at the cardroom.
Police reported that a man at a casino in Trinidad brandished a chainsaw, a gun, and a pipe while threatening staff and guests last Friday night.
The event occurred at Cher-Ae Heights Casino, as reported by the Times-Standard, a regional news source.
The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office reported that the suspect was identified as Michael Black. He was captured the next day. It is not known if he was ever formally charged.

Gary Lobello, 51, from Plainfield, Ill., was arrested for battery after a disagreement at the Hollywood Casino on Friday, as reported by the Joliet Patch.
The event started when a 67-year-old man was using a slot machine. He stepped away from the machine to access an ATM. Upon his return, a woman had started playing the slot machine, and they began to quarrel.
Lobello noticed that the woman, his wife, was having a dispute with the man.
“Lobello approached the male, grabbed him by his jacket, and threw him to the ground,” according to local police.
Lobello and his spouse exited the casino following the argument. He was subsequently apprehended at his residence.
